The holiday season is coming up, we all want to eat all the yummy food without gaining. Here are a few tips that will help you enjoy the food without gaining any weight.

  1. Exercise more – Make sure that you throw in a few EXTRA workouts to make sure that your burning off what you’re eating. The key is to burn the food before it becomes fat.
  2. Drink more water – Now that the temperature is dropping the air becomes drier, meaning our bodies aren’t getting as much moisture as in warmer months. If you’re feeling the effects of the drier air, here’s a reminder to increase your water consumption! Hydration is key!
  3. Eat smart – Try eating a salad before a heavy meal. By eating a salad first, you will feel more fuller and most likely won’t over indulge on the good yet naughty foods!
  4. Portion control – Eat what you want, but trying picking at food. Remember the damage is a lot less than starving yourself. So eat what you want in small amounts. Try eating less starches and save some room for the yummy desserts!
